a bit about me....

I am a Elementary Education major at the University of South Alabama. I graduated high school from Lawton Chiles in Tallahassee, FL in May of 2005. I also attended Faith Academy in Mobile, AL until my sophomore year of high school. I hope to use blogs and technology in my classroom when I graduate and become a teacher.

Google Tools

I love google tools and want to bring them into the classroom. Google tools are great because they are free. This would be helpful in a classroom where not all of the students could afford expense software. Google docs is my favorite tool. It also users to send and receive documents fast and without hassle given that people have different versions of Word or have a Mac versus a PC. I also like Blogger. This tool allows me to stay in touch with my class and also gets them more in touch with technology. I think all teachers should become familiar with the many things Google has to offer education.
